Benefits for Quality Management
| Task » |
Situation
Just only 40% of all enterprises are able control the quality of their IT processes! Only 11% collect the necessary data with appropriate tools! (Source: Survey of the SQS AG as of May 2006).
The merge of markets, combined with the global electronic network by internet, led to the fact that enterprises have to face an increasing international competition. The consequences are visible for everyone. Caused by new vendors, the number of comparable products rises, while prices are fallen perpetually. Differentiations can often be achieved only by increasing the product quality and functionality.
Therefore accompanying support of quality management (QM) over the entire life cycle of software projects, while e.g. the development of software becoming constantly more complex become a fundamental competition factor.
